The wine-red valleys of the Rougier and the woodland of the Belmont region provide the backdrop for this walk, which takes in both country roads and rural paths. Just past Combret, a ‘village of character’ perched on a hilltop, lies the highlight of this discovery trail: a unique passage through a small canyon. A wonderful cycling experience to be savoured to the full!
Description
- Starting from Montlaur, right in the heart of the ‘red earth’ region, this gravel ride alternates between tracks, country lanes and woodland paths.
- After passing Combret, a lovely stretch through a small canyon will take you towards Belmont-sur-Rance before a return journey along a ‘hilly’ route back to Montlaur.
