A tour around Alzac
From castel Crémat an ancient fortified residence of the lords of Saint-Jean-d’Alcapiès (now turned into a luxurious gite: Les castel d’Alzac), along with the Mas de la Moulinerie and Bages, enjoy a tour dedicated to the discovery of Caussenard buildings, castles and farmhouses, these important features of a pastoral landscape of hedges, box-trees and low stone walls.
Description
- When you leave the Alcapia car park, walk along the road to your right for 100 m, then take the first turn on the right, which is a small ascending road. When you reach the crossing of two dirt tracks (green lanes), go straight ahead.

Carry straight on between the box trees for 2 km.
- At the junction, leave the large trail opposite by taking the small path to your right.
- On your way out of the hamlet, once you’ve passed a stone cross turn right along a small path, carry on for 400 m, then walk across the street.
