Mur de la Loubière Descent Time Trial (Trail)
The time trial… and a timeless trail. An experienced runner, you’ve just “climbed” the Loubière Wall. Now for the less intense second stage: on the way back, explore this plateau, rich in wild orchids, while taking in stunning views of the ridges, all the way to the Croix del Pas, the starting point for the descent. The perfect way to get a breath of fresh air!
Description
- At the finish of the “Chrono Mur de la Loubière”, follow the signs towards Croix del Pas.
- At Croix del Pas, turn right and follow the route marked “Lapeyre via Puech-Mets.”
- Follow the drivable track downhill to Lapeyre Cemetery, where the car park is located.
- Departure : Loubière Plateau
- Arrival : Hiker’s Car Park below Lapeyre Cemetery
- Towns crossed : Versols-et-Lapeyre and Gissac

Wear sturdy footwear, as the trail is quite rocky and includes steep slopes.

The Tourism Office is open all year round, the opening hours are:
·July and august:
From Monday to Saturday: 9h – 13h & 15h – 19h
Sunday: 9h – 13h
·From September to June:
From Tuesday to Saturday: 9h – 13h & 14h – 17h
Closed: Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays
From November to April, the office is also closed on Saturday afternoon.
