Discover a pleasant stroll along the Tarn in family!

The smallest village in Aveyron at the entrance of the Tarn valley and against the Causse Noir (limestone plateau), Paulhe is surrounded by cherry orchards. The cherry is an essential element of a cultural and human heritage in the village.                                                     La Maison de la Cerise (the Cherry house) is a place of meetings and exchanges, a space dedicated to the "Purple Gold" in the Tarn valley offering a wide playfull and educative thematic.


Description

  1. From the parking, foward on the road about 200m, then join the river banks by taking the MTB route on the left side . At the first junction go on the left side of the cross then straight ahead to go along the Tarn river until joining the RD 187.
  2. Go along the road on the right about 100 m then fork on the left onto the path that goes up joining the hamlet des Crotes. The path goes along the hills until Paulhe.
  3. Reach until the road in a hairpin bend. Take it on the right side about 100 m before turning right towards "rue des Eglantiers". Fork on the right towards "rue de la Forge" then left towards "rue de l'ancienne fontaine" to get back to the departure. Finish your walk by visiting la Maison de la Cerise (the Cherry house) and/or the orchards conservatory to discover different variaties of cherries in the valley.
